The Boson takes streetwear-favorite outdoor styling onto the bike, built from stretchy hydratex WindBarrier softshell in a loose-fitting cut. CE-level 1 SEESMART armor at the shoulders and elbows and a Class AA rating make it genuinely ride-ready, while a snap-secured hood and oversized angular pockets add function and character. Jeans loops and a short connection zipper attach it to your pants, and a level 2 back protector slips in easily. The key thing to know is that the WindBarrier fabric is windproof rather than fully waterproof, so it shrugs off wind and light moisture but is not a rain jacket.
